Came home from work and found my female Picasso just staying in one spot. She's never acted like this in the two years I've had her. The male is nowhere near her which is odd cause they're usually inseparable

Any advice is appreciated

She might have just been spooked by something, keep a close eye on her for the next 24hrs or so... hopefully it will pass... maybe others might have additional recommendations.

That is odd.It looks like it is trying to hide yet stay close to the anemone.Maybe the male was in breeding mode and she wasn't?

Just an FYI (you might already know this) the eggs will look yellowish on a new clutch that has just been laid.

Have you noticed any "cleaning" behavior in that spot?

Older video, but you can see the male cleaning a spot,
