    Talking New Carpet Anemone :)

Hi All!! Today I got my first carpet anemone from a local store. They said it was a neon green carpet, but didnt say which one. I believe it is the haddon (spelling?) In the store it had very little green and foot was very white no color. Now being in my tank for a few hrs has goten a lot of green back and its underneath is turning purpleish. Is there anything else you think I should do to help it get better? Will the color get better? I have looked them up but there are some that look just like mine and some real bright green. Also there are some zoas somewaht close to it on the rock should I move them? Im thinking yes The one picture i can upload is under actnics only and is poor quality as I dont know how to use the new camera. any input is greatly appreciated!

They like bright light and also like to be fed. Slowly it should regain all its color. In nems color usually reflect their health.

Nice nem. High light and very powerful hold when it catches anything. I lost a naso to mine. Feed once-twice a week. Time will allow it to color up. Is it's foot buried or on a rock?

Thanks! It is slowly buring his foot. Good sign right? I read some other people have had them take days to bury their foot.

I buried mine for him, but it decided to move. Putting it's foot in place is good.

Sorry to dig up a somewhat old thread, but what if the foot takes hold on a rock instead of in the sand? Does this mean anything?
