Mojano nems - How to get rid of them?

Hey guys, I got some rock from a buddy and it's covered with these nems...I can't hit em with lemon juice because I have hundreds upon hundreds upon hundreds and I'm looking to get rid of them without drying them out...I guess that will be my last resort. Anyone know of anyway I can rid the rock and my tank of these? I currently have them in an empty tank so dosing the whole thing wouldn't be a problem. Thank you!

No help here. I have heard of kalk paste. It would be easier to control where it goes but if you have that many I wouldn't add that much kalk.

I've used Aiptasia X with excellent results. No harm to any coral or other inhabitants in SPS tank. I bought hypodermic syringes at the local pharmacy and injected the X right into the mouth and they would shrivel and die within minutes.

Yeah the rocks are covered in them. The guy I got it from, his tank is covered in them as well, he was torching them off but he wasn't a fan of that idea. So I told him I'd try to come up with a way to get rid of them.

If its just rock, with no corals or polyps, just throw em in a pool for a day or 2. Kill all the bad stuff, but the corraline will usually come back. Better to kill everything, probably more mojanos and aptasia than you could ever kill with x or a wand.

yeah from the sounds of it you are best off killing and bleaching the rock or simply not using it.
