Well it is that time again! YES it is! CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!!!!

If you are a seasoned veteran of REEF2REEF then you know we help unfortunate children every year get gifts at Christmas time. Every Christmas for the past 6 years we have had a donation drive and the members of R2R and the reefing community always show their true colors and give above and beyond the call to duty for kids in need.

Last year alone we raised over $2550.00 and bought gifts for over 30 KIDS! As many of you know I am a Pastor and every year we see many, many children who are in need and being that I am a Pastor and owner of R2R it gives us a special opportunity. First off we make sure that all families are in need and that the kids really wouldn't have much for Christmas otherwise. Secondly we are able to buy all the gifts with no taxes because we are a non-profit at the church. That saved us over $200 last year alone! Third we mark each gift so that the gifts are not allowed to be taken back to the stores in exchange. Sadly there are parents who would take kids gifts back to the store and use the money for other, less productive things. Hate to have to do that but this is for the kids. We also buy nice gifts!

I would LOVE for us to reach the goal of $5000 this year! We can do it! There is nothing that makes you feel better than to give to someone in need.

Give and Win: This year we are going to be offering prizes that can be won, by random draw, to all those that are able to give. Every one who donates anything under $25 will be given one random draw entry. Everyone who gives $25 will be given 2 entries per $25 donated including special level bonus entries the more you can give. Go to the official page for details. There are many toy drives out there but this one is run by great people who will make sure these toys are able to reach the kids who truly need it. I know the holiday is about family and material gifts shouldn't be a focus, but as a kid, getting that cool new toy lights up your day.
