Just set up my 60 gallon cube. I'm pretty excited to finally have it up and running. I bought the tank quite a while ago, but with the help from a lfs, I finally got it up and running.
Tank is a 24" cube, with a 90 gallon 'fuge and a 75 gallon sump. The stand is an old army piece, made out of aluminum, it was probably part of a mobile kitchen. I have a pan world pump running the whole thing and an older vertex skimmer that is a beast. No lights yet, although they will probably be radions.
The display is set up in my first level, with the fuge and sump in the basement.
Pic of the display with sand:

We went down through the wall to avoid drilling into the floor, and I had a couple of old phone/internet jack and speaker cable boxes already cut into the wall:

I went pretty minimal on the rock and used mostly real reef rock (which is awesome, great color and shapes). Pre water shot:

Everything is pretty cloudy from the initial set up.

and the 'fuge:

Tank has cleared up and started it's cycle. I added a basic 4 ft shop light to the fuge. Now the hard part of waiting and watching an empty tank mature!

Waiting isnt fun at all but it gives you time to think about the direction you want the tank to go in. Have you decided on livestock yet?

Thanks all. I know I want some stags and zoas. Fish wise, I already have a frostbite clown in a 20 gallon that will move over. The red saddled anthias are intriguing. We will see how the summer goes!

For the light, I am wanting to go with a vintage industrial look. I built some bookcases out of iron gas pipe that I would like to try and replicate the style. Here is a couple shots of the shelves and some ideas for how I will be hanging the light.

haven't done a water test, but I am getting a good diatom bloom in the refugium. Added some lights and chaeto. Also added a sink to the fish basement, next step is ro/di, mixing station and an ato. Still need to add more sand to the fuge as well. no diatoms in the dt, could be because there is no light on it. Not sure, but its still early in the game.

Here are a few shots of my light mount. It is sitting pretty much how it will be mounted above the tank. Still need to work a few things out, but so far I'm pretty happy with it.
