Fast forward 20 years and regulations are so tight we are allowed one fish and one coral. State why and if it's something you currently own share a picture.

My choices
1. Cuttlefish - although this is a cephalopod I would have
to say this would be my #1

**if it had to be a "fish" I would have to go with the juvenile emperor angel..since it does change and while still gorgeous I would have to go with green/blue mandarin goby although having never had one I am basing this on its beauty alone. So in summary 1 cuttlefish if it counts as a fish 2 emperor angel if I can keep it forever juvenile and 3 no stipulations I would have to take the mandarin goby/dragonette!

2. Coral- I would have to say Zoas.
If I had to pick one SPECIFIC coral,
I would take a blue-purple and green hammer!

That was harder than I thought! Alright your turn!

Fish I would have to have a fairy wrasse of some sort... Whipfin, Scott's, Flame, Hooded... Just because of the beautiful coloration and the way they swim and act in the tank, can keep me entertained even though its only one fish lol

Coral choice is my red planet acro. It grows so nicely, good conrast of colors and would give the tank some structure as it grew. LPS are still a favorite but would take forever to have a tank full of just one choice! Xenia would be my second pick, tanks full of Xenia are beautiful!

Coral would be Joe the coral. Beautiful blue & green, hardiest acro out there, & one of the fast est growers.

Fish, hands down would be a leopard wrasse. Potters leopard would be my favorite, but I have yet to get one through qt. I have a couple in qt now but I don't have high hopes for them to make it.

If I could only have 1 fish and 1 coral, I would have to go with an orange spotted filefish and a large mother colony of blue Mille.

I want a big book that lists every fish and coral out there and talks about each one. Does a book like this exist?

For the fish it would be either a Hawaiian dragon moray or a male giant cuttlefish.
Coral would be a huge 200+ polyp candy cane colony.
Not in the same tanks of course :p

I used to have one of those flaming prawn gobys. One of the coolest fish ever but max out at around an inch!
