Hi all,

Relatively new to marine fish (not fish in general though) and I've got a few issues at the moment. One is algae related and I'll post about that in the correct section in a moment (my LFS IS HELPING ME AS WELL). The other is my mushroom, I've had him for two weeks now and he's been really happy but I came back today from work to find him looking very limp! I've added a picture of him. Please, please help, I really don't want him to be my first fatality in the tank! Water and lighting details below:

Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 0.75 (I know it's high, see algae comment above)
Phosphate - 3.06 (as above)
Salinity - 1.026
Temp - 27.8 deg C
Lighting - 150w metal halide and 4 blue night LED

Currently dosing with NOPOX for the algae (see above comment).

I have two different types of Zoa in the tank as well and they as as happy as a pig in mud and doing very well!

Thanks for all your help!

I don't see anything exactly wrong. 'Shrooms expand and contract at various times. Most especially when transitioning from night to daytime light and visa versa.

Thanks for the quick response!

I'm new to the world of marine and coral, so just a little over protective, he's fine as of this morning! I'm loving the marine world, but it was so much simpler with fresh water! [emoji39]
