But since you mentioned it... what do you use for the mesh? I was thinking toole from the fabric store?

You want to use 1/4" clear mesh screening. BRS sells it. You might also be able to find it at one of the box stores.

I will have to look into the clear mesh,It sounds versatile.I have enjoyed creating custom racks with eggcrate.I place corals with lower lighting requirements beneath them.I have noticed that the black eggcrate reacts with super glue faster.It tends to melt a bit more.

Well, I am impatient so I picked up the white egg crate from Lowes today. I just liked the look of the black. It would vanish in my tank and would just see corals ;) Maybe I'll switch out later on. Where did you get the bird netting from?

Also, you use super glue for gluing the pvc pipe stands to it? I was thinking maybe marine silicone...

Don't I mean don't use white egg create it will each PHOS FOR DAYS ON OUT! Happened with is but then finally after a week or 2 it was all gone and coraline started to grow over the rack. Just do the black one use reg frag rack till you get it from brs
