Here are a few more updated pictures. Need to go to the hardware store for some more wood and some drill bits... this sure is enjoyable.

I have built a few things. Built about 5 different stand for aquariums a bed frame. I am self taught.

I'm open for suggestions if you have any.

I don't look at myself as a master carpenter. I don't know how to do some things. But I always look for a better way to do things. I allow my self room to learn cause I don't know it all

Very cool ! No you wouldn't want suggestions from me when it comes to carpentry ... In high school I made a small box and a little stand :xd: not my proudest achievements

Thanks. I think most of us have made things that we are not proud of. I know I have. I use a template that I have use in many of my stand however I am incorporating some things that I saw on another forum stand building template. I decide this time I am going to go all out and regardless of how long it take me to achieve that goal it will be worth it in the end.

It took me a while to figure out where I really wanted to place them. But after a lot of think I figured that it would be best where I placed them

I was wondering I have a standard aqueon 90 drilled tank with two holes in the overflow one for drain and one for return. Which style of stand pipe drain would be recommended.

Thanks. It's still under construction as well. Doing little by little.

You see I've built many stand. One my a 40 breeder, 55, 85, 90 now I'm rebuilding my 90. Every time I build a stand I've wished I had done a few things differently. So now I decided to build a huge stand that could hold a 125. But this stand well have a storage cabinet next to the 90 which is why there looks like something is missing next to it. Under the stand will house my 40 breeder sump, ato reservoir and possibly my chiller. But I'm unsure if I will be able to fit the chiller if not it will sit outside the stand. It will be painted with kiltz primer under the stand. And then a glossy white in top of that. Then the main color if the stand will have a glossy black finish. The canopy will be the same inside glossy white, glossy black outside housing two hydra 52's.
