DIY food preservative

looking to add a preservative to my DIY foods so it wont spoil. going to use it for my auto feeder so so my foods will my liquid. could anyone help with this.

I'm assuming your talking about mysis or some other homemade mixture of seafood. I don't think you can stop it from going bad pretty quick.

yes that's what im referring to.. I really want to extend the life more then 4 days when thawed

Four days? I would never use four day old thawed food. I wouldn't use 24 hour thawed food. I thaw just enough for each feeding.

Maybe someone else can help.

I wouldn't add anything to a reef tank that could prevent bacteria in seafood for four days at room temperature, aside from soaking it at low pH (as in vinegar) or high pH (limewater/kalkwasser) or high salt (like a brine solution). :)
