So just curious what people think about this, I've built a very sturdy stand with 3/4 plywood top and the stand is level and pretty flat . I can slide a salifert color chart under some spots while tank is empty.
1. Should a plywood top be used on rimless tanks?
2. Should foam be used? How thick and what type?
3. Could tha tank be set on a bead of silicone ,under the edge panels only to be used and a self level solution?

A thin rubber mat, (OSH) sells it by linear foot.

1/8" sheet of cork , hobby store, osh, home depot, auto parts store,

Then thin bead of silicone to seal it all in any spillage won't go under.
