Hello fellow members,

Has anyone ever "hard plumb" (using PVC) to run Two Little Fishies reactors (both 150 and 550) with their return line? I been trying to find what materials is needed to make this DIY project happen. Any help would be useful right now.

First thing you need to do is know the inside dimension (ID) of the tubing for the reactor. If your return pump is hard plumbed you will need to use a T fitting to create a branch off of your return line. Then using another t fitting with a cap on the end. Then you will need to install a gate valve or ball valve to adjust the water coming out of the line. With a reducer fitting installed in the valve that has a female thread so you can attach a hose barb that matches the size of the ID of your in take of the reactor.

Does this help.:)

Your input has helped me to get an idea of what i need to do. As for the dimensions for the inner tube it 1/2.

You would need to use a PVC Union if you piped it directly to the reactor. So that you could remove the rector.
