My bubble magus c3.5 is not working at all anymore, and replacing the pump seems useless since i didnt like how it skimmed in the first place... At any rate, Im in the market for a new skimmer... My tank is a 90 gallon reef tank. I'd love reef octopus, but if something comes along that does the job just as good for cheaper, Im all in...

Any suggestions folks? Im really in a rock and a hard place with this one.

Bulk reef supply vertex Black Friday sale. Can get a better skimmer for cheap right now. omega 130 for that size.

Bummer you had bad luck with yours....but for us the

Bubble Magnus....curve 5 or 9

We have a 5 and curve 9 on our 150g main and it's works amazing.

But like lights....we and Lloyd have our favorites. ..

I like my sca-302 for 180$ but it's got its issues to perfection.

Only been using it for a few months on my 75g reef, but I love my Reef Octopus NWB150 so far. I have a heavily stocked tank and it works great, I'd feel pretty confident it could handle a 90g. I hear the omegas are great too. Definitely some good sales going on right now.

I've heard really good things about the Aquamaxx cones-1. 15% off at marinedepot this month.

Supposed to be a quiet little guy and powerful!

It's the one I'm going with on my next build. Can't beat a Sicce pump!

Heard good things about Life Reef and it's a huge plus that you can run any pump you want on them (way cheaper usually than the specialty needle wheel pumps too)
