I've looked all over this website for pics of ATO containers and couldn't find any. I'm interested in seeing how you guys hold your water for top off. I just bought this one on ebay for $89 it holds 5 gallons. I will be useing the auto smart Ato with the container

This picture is almost 2 years old! Anyways, this is my sump when I first got it. There is the drain/skimmer section, tiny refugium area, return, and then my ATO reservoir which is 10g.

Really good ideas. I wouldn't even think of some of the things I just saw. Keep sending them!

Let the flaming commence.... I have my ro (a brs model with auto shot off) hooked dirctly to my sump with a flow control solenoid. The solenoid is controlled by my ReefKeeper via redundant float switches. I know it sounds a little convoluted but I don"t have any room in the stand for a reservoir.

When I built my sump, I used the last 7-8 inches for a reservoir. It's about 8 1/2 gallons. It's the last section on the left in this older picture. I wish it were a lot larger!!!

My reef cube has an integrated ATO section on the left side in the sump like this:

My large tank has a more sophisticated design with most of the ATO section under the skimmer section, to save space. Its the leftmost section on the photo and the skimmer stands in the second section. (The sump was under construction at the time this photo was taken):

23 gallon Rubbermaid recycling can with float switches set 12" apart so the RO/DI does not cycle back on until 11 gallons are used, no TDS creep issues that way.
