Hi im looking at buying this tank in the near future and was wondering about the filtration that comes with it. It says it has a 3 way bio filtration. I understand what that is but i feel like there should be a actual filter where the overflow is first am i wrong any help would be great thanks alot!!

Most of your biological filtration will be done in that section full of what appears to be bio balls. You could add some poly fill or try to fashion a filter suck under the overflow for mechanical filtration.
