Just installed it. A lot of bubbles! We'll see if it pulls any skimmate out in the next week or so.

Well mine is bubbling the way it's supposed to. I guess that's something.

It's a Coralife nano skimmer. Overall it doesn't really get good reviews but I basically got it for free so I'm giving it a try. The real test will be to see if it produces any skimmate!

I tried three nano skimmers.

Cadlightd PLS-50. The micro bubbles were terrible.
Tunze 9001. Works just,....ok. If you have a real light,..... fish load, it will be fine.

Finally tried the Aquamaxx HOB- 1.

I know you may not want a HOB skimmer, but it works fantastic !
Works so well, I bought another !

I have the intake in the first section and the exit in the second chamber.
Zero,.......bubbles and it takes out the most nasy gunk !
Very,.....quiet, easy to clean and adjust as well.

I know that's the best one. I'll probably get it at some point.
