Question is this a Mogul type bulb or the DQI? I don't think Radium makes a DQI bulb. If there did that would be my next bulb for my Solana.
if double ended i would stay either phoenix or go aquamaxx they are suppose to have same spectrum as radium per sanjay's site. if se i would go radium just really depends on what you perfer color or growth as phoenix has more par but in my opinion radium has better color
this is SE type bulb, i am getting outstanding growth but i wonder how much it will decrease with a 20k bulb considering the light has to penetrate about 4 to six inches into the water after being about 16 inches off the water column. you guys think the 20k will brown out the sps for a little bit or no?

i've used xm 20k, ushio 10k and 20k and a few other brands and prefer the color of the Phoenix 14k... these are all HQI. Phoenix seem to last a little longer for me as well... good SPS growth
It's a pricey bulb but look into the USA Elos 14k. It's my favorite
Par numbers are 25% higher then a Radium and I think it looks crisper
Phoenix.
If you like the phoenix or radium then run them the way they were designed to runon a m80 ballast. You will get more life out of the bulbs and better par, not to mention they are a white color with hint of blue instead of blue on electronics. If not then runn xm's as thats the ballast they are ment to run on.
Phoenix 14k..awesome color IMO.
I have only ran Phoenix. And I love em so far, good price and color

I have not used Phoenix but am sold on radium, I run the 250watt 20K's with amazing color.
