ok now the good stuff
nothing like a crew that works for beer. saved my back.. kinda.
Its in place. so sexy!
Look at those fogged top and bottom edges and the museum edge corners. I Think everyone was doing this all day. touching it. Is it for real?
Bring on the sand.. or more like pixie dust. very fine sand but this is what the customer wanted. 420 pounds of it.
The aquascaping.. aka the back breaker. fun fun fun, but one can only work so long in tight quarters.
I guess I was the only one not drinking today. so worried about scratching the inside.
starting to take place
As one can see the water is slowly getting filled. I could not believe I spent hours inside that tank. 420 pounds of sand 650 pounds of mixed marshal, tonga slab and branch. zip tie a bunch together. putty over all of the zip ties to climb out and the guy doing the plumbing was not done yet. I was like ok, its only a closed loop, two returns and two drains whats the deal? Yes it was getting late lack of food and everyone getting tired as the tension started to rise.
Luckly soon after the good neighbor surprised us all with pizza and all kinda snacks. We were saved. we were putting some of the fish in 10 hours later. They were in the bins the whole time and were not too stressed.
More to come. I need to take some more pictures.
