Default data out of range prevention?

Out of range data, remove please?

Hey,

I have the RKE, with TWO pH sensors, but only 1 is hooked up. I HAD the second one for my Calcium reactor, and it was broken about 2 months ago.

Now, in my data, usually 3-5 times per day, there is a data value that is HUGELY out of range.

This is caused by me forgetting to remove graphing on the now disconnected port, so once in awhile it would report a pH of 64.xx, 75.xx, 83.xx... Which... is way outside of the possible ranges for that data type.

Can I suggest that for certain data types (ie: temp, pH, etc) that you put an upper and lower limit on the data that is accepted. This will make the data much more accurate, and remove any unwanted data.

Perhaps, if more then 10 values are truncated, to email the user and let them know.

This is just an idea, because having to manually remove out of range spikes is REALLY tedious using the current interface.

I have cleaned up for the current week, but if you go backwards on my reports, you'll see what I'm talking about in relation to my pH chart.

cheers and thanks for the awesome tool,

Spyrule

Here's my tank :

Absolutely, I'll look into it. My aquacontroller does the same thing.

If you want, just email me at the end of the week and I can kill them with a single query. It will likely be a few days before I get this in there.
