| Do they die that easy? Short answer is yes they do. They in my opinion and many other collectors of ricordea have had issue after issue with yumas. They can do good for months, years and for what ever reason just melt within days. With no reason or obvious reason for the melting.....I have been through 11 Hot pink yumas and have 0 to show for my money. I have done it both ways acclimate, no acclimation, temp acclimate only and have had them melt in each instance....I have also had them live and be fine in each instance as well....But as far as them being that easy to die I would put them up there with indo elegance corals.

Yup that is typical......I don't like yuma being shipped on heavey rock or large rock pieces...I have learned over the years after spending $1000s that there are certain things that give you a better chance with ultra yumas and photoacclimation is #1.
