No, unfortunately I won't be there. And these guys need another 2-3 months before I feel comfortable selling them.
Booyahs Reef is a vendor at INDMAS, booyahs is the origin of my broodstock clownfish. I'm sure he will have some amazing clownfish available! Although if you can wait a few months I'm sure we can work something out!

**** man you are lucky. Here's my update I have 3 pairs now. 1 gold stripe pair 1 3.5 white stripe maroon and then my black oscarellis. All the 2 maroon pairs are still in there "courting" imo but my blacks still clean a spot act like they are gunna lay and nothing I have a rot culture and a my own brine hatchery (trying to trick them into laying with them) but still no clutchs

Nice Ncrawford! How old are the darwins? How long have they been together? How frequently(and what) are you feeding them? What is the tank temp, and lighting schedule? I can't tell from the pictures but are there any other tankmates?

I'm excited to see exactly how white these will get. I think I will have a fair amount of premium clowns.

Yes it's a fire fish but it's under a rock all day and there's no getting it out without destroying the setup. And 84 temp 5 times a day mixed foods 15 hours a day on a timer

Fire fish are so passive I can't see them disrupting anything. It seems like you are offering proper conditions. I didn't catch the age of the clowns? And how long they have been together?

Alright, well keep doing what your doing. Offering a variety of foods, maybe try to feed them some live brine. I would also try rods eggs, and foods higher in fat. Rods Food does a "breeder blend" with plenty of squid and fatty foods. If you are out of options, maybe try to do less tank maintenance. Nutrient rich water will host more larval food in the ocean, and as a result clowns lay their eggs when the most food will be available to ensure success.

I've been struggling with keeping my eggs moving on hatch night. Ive tried small pumps small filters anything you can think of and finally yesterday I got every single egg to hatch in my new setup!!!

Check out all those baby fish!

*please describe the process to get a good hatch. What night, what temp, and any detail you can think would be important. Please and thank you. I am having trouble getting more than a 50% hatch.

What I did was this..

Grabbed a 5 Gallong bucket (Food Grade, White)
Filled it with 4 Gallons of fresh 1 day old mixed Coral Pro Salt 1.025 (I didn't use any tank water)
Temp was around 80
I removed the pot, let it touch air between the time I took it out of the tank and placed it into the 5 Gallon bucket (Just go slow)
The key to the success was this. I used this long airs tone and placed it on the bottom of the bucket and placed the clay pot upwards allowing the air bubbles to come through the hole of the pot.

Now one thing is really important to note that so many people have a missconception about on hatch night. It doesn't matter if you take the eggs out on day 5, 6 or 7 as long as you keep them moving they will hatch. Maybe its just me or my fish but I can get them to hatch if I remove them 2 days before hand.

Stellar job, Thanks for the reply! In the video you have the pot open upwards, wider side up resting on the base like "V". But in the picture with the pot outside, it is inverted, resting on the wide side with the base up. Is the video displaying the correct position for the clay pot? And even though the eggs were pulled earlier did you still get a hatch on the 8th night at 80 degrees?

Oh I just posted that picture of the pot to use. What you see in the video is how they hatched. I left it straight up with the pot balancing right on the larger air stone. I pulled these eggs on day 6 when I started to see them start turning grey and left them in this position until hatch morning on day 8

Was there a light cycle on the larval tank or were the eggs kept in the dark the whole time? Did your technique with the airstone produce visible movement of the eggs? When did you first add rotifers?

I left the lights off in the room and didn't cover the bucket, there was natural sunlight coming into the room during the day. I took the pot out of the main tank around 11pm then went to bed, the next morning my family got up early and left town for the entire day. When I got home we went to sleep and then that following morning is when I came down to see the mother load of eggs hatched.

The night I removed the pot from the main display I had to clean my rotifer batch so I added 150ml of rotifers to the bucket.

As for the lights when I came down that morning and saw all the fish hatched is when I placed the light over the bucket.

This is the light I am using, its perfect! Shop OttLite 17.5-in Adjustable Black Desk Lamp with Plastic Shade at Lowes.com

The eggs were not visible to me due to the bubbles coming up from the bottom and crashing on the waters surface were I was trying to look. I didn't have my air pump on full blast, I had it on a nice level were it wasn't crazy but not too soft.
