thanks for the follow! Yea I'm down to about 11 babies :(. Equipment malfunction, somehow my rigid air tube was pressed directly against my tank bottom and the bubbles were completely stopped. Frustrating when I'm putting so much time and effort into this and something out of my hands malfunctions. Well I'm expecting another clutch within a week.

Update! Well I must have counted incorrectly, I haven't siphoned any dead babies out and I have 9 babies. 7 days and five hours in and the bodies have really changed, I can see meta around the corner.
The marine breeding initiative was July 19 and it was awesome! I feel like such an amature around all these leaders in the field. Amazing speeches, and I won 2 raffles! A 9 piece breeder food pack from Rods Reef, and a compact culture system with more RGCOMPLETE from reef nutrition!!! Amazing but it would have been real nice to win the Lightning Maroon clownfish.
My pair should be laying very soon, their last spawn was on 7/5.
The reddish orange pic is from day 2, the blue pics are from today, day 7.

Still 5 babies on day 14. Lost 4 babies while I was gone. It looks like 3 or 4 will have the snowflake gene. Very exciting stuff. The new clutch was laid on the evening of 7/25. And was around 285. Hopefully around 180 will be left on day 8 when I pull the pot. I pulled the pot on the 9th night last time and missed half.

The babies are currently eating rotifers and otohime a, I will be starting otohime B1 soon. Occasionally I'll throw some frozen baby brine in. But I don't want to spike ammonia. I have been doing 25% daily water changes on the larval tank and the rotifer tank. Feedings are around every 6 hours, and I add a few drops of RG complete as needed. Usually 2 times a day.
Happy with my success this far and looking for greater success with my next batch. I'll post some clownfish baby pictures later

I am assuming that this will be a normal barred one, and a snowflake. It's exciting.

This is very cool! I am local to you and seen you post on a local board.

Maybe when they are big enough and if you are willing to part with some, I would be interested.

Very cool!!! I didn't start this experiment with profit as my goal, I'm just a big fan of marine breeding as a challenge. I'm thinking this next clutch should have a lot more success and I have plans to get a table at a frag swap. But Rob keep following and we will work something out when they are ready!!! Probably around 1-1.5 inches and about <6 months old.

Thanks friends! The feeding is going well, I assume haha. The tank still has a good rotifer density but you only feed rotifers until around day 10. So I assume they are eating the otohime. I am attempting to skip the live baby brine shrimp stage, I think it's possible.

Speaking of rotifers. I just recieved my raffle prize from the Marine Breeding Conference, the compact culture system from APBREED and reed Mariculture. I'm excited to set it up. Shipping was separate for the RGCOMPLETE but I also have a 32 Oz bottle coming my way!!! Cool prizes!
