My koran angel has been fading over the last year. All fish in the tank are healthy. Only deaths have been my stupidity and some kamikaze jumpers. sp 1.022, 0 nitrates, minimal phosphates (working on ), temp 78-81, eats brine, mysis, and bloodworms. He eats great, is social, fins on top have not been regenerating well. I am getting back into the hobby and want to know where i went wrong with this guy and if i can fix it. Is it a illness, does he need supplement, water quality????? Any feedback is appreciated. thanx

Wow this is an extreme case of HLLE. I know you can't reverse it's affects but you can stop them from further deterioration, however it looks like it's a very bad case already. It's face is looks to be completely deteriorated and it's fins don't look very good either, sadly I'm not sure there is much you can do this far down the road

What size tank?
What do you have for filtration?

Would try to add a bit more to its diet, brine is providing little to no nutrition.

Thanx for the replies, I have a 65 gallon tank at the moment. I originally had plans for a 125 but just has not happened yet. Current filtration is a hob aqua clear and a coral life super skim 125 as we'll as some live rock. I really just have neglected the tank for a long time and let the fish get that way. Now I am trying understand what i may have down wrong because i am upgrading everything ( tank, filtration, water quality, etc..) to attempt a reef tank. B elides the angel i have had healthy fish for 3 years
