Which is the bigger Doof Bag?

I have a 5+ Inch Purple tang that is the queen witch of the tank...
She shoulder checks everyone and chases them. My Blue Face angel sometimes gets peeved enough to turn and stand ground and my Majestic pays her no mind at all as she used to be the boss and doesn't care.
My Powder runs away all day long, very smart swimmer and can escape most of the time but every once in a while gets trapped for a quick half second before she sees a way out.
I have never seen the Purple actually nip any anyone though so I assume they are ok...

Was just wondering though if an Achilles Tang is the same way? If one day i decided to try and trade the Purple for an Achilles ?

Purple Tang. I've not seen that kind of aggresion out of an Achilles, compared with a Purple Tang that is.

My purple tang is a huge baby, was in the tank a year before my Achilles and didn't have a problem. Achilles on the other hand is the most aggressive fish I've ever had in 20 years of reef keeping. Can't even add a wrasse or clownfish without the Achilles killing it within minutes. Needless to say another fish will never be added to that tank.

I had to use the "photo burst" function in order to get this one photo (probably went thru about 500 for one decent ;-) Same thing to get one photo of just the Achilles. In the above photo the purple is about 6" and the Achilles is a little over 7". They've been living together about 3 1/2 years now. The below photo was one out of about a thousand I had to take...LOL

My Achilles is way more active than any other fish hands down.

Both are stunning fish.

I would say the Purple Tang has been bullet proof. He got ich second week and never showed a single dot again. Achilles does get a spec here and there.

I have a purple, black, and achillies tang in my tank. I would say achillies is most active but keeps to himself. The purple and black tang like to go at each other. Purple tang is definitely the dominant tang in the tank though when it comes to other fish in their or new fish being introduced. All 3 have been living together for over 2 years now.

Ya, my purple likes to give my achilles hell every now and then. Not bad but a little chase out of an area here and there. But overall they get along..
