I took a chance on matted filefish from LFS before this I had peppermint shrimp, COB. I was not expecting good result base on the past, its a chance that he will settle in and control a few Aiptasia that I have and see more everyday as I am starting to feed more to get corals to grow. The little guy didn't much for first and second day mostly feeding on pods, on the third day a few Aiptasia disappeared, I never saw him eat but this Aiptasia was stubborn one I treated it comes right back the same location and bigger, the angle just was not perfect to treat it good. I don't have a good picture of him he always looking around the live rock, picture of my tank.

↑↑↑ This is what mine did too. Obliterated all aiptasia and the next thing I knew, I had no zoanthids either.

So far no nipping at Zoa or Acan yet, I don't have very many of those mostly SPS dominated frags. I do have grow like weed green Zoa hopefully he develop a taste for them.
