I recently had a bunch of red algae grow on my main rock structure. It was on everything for a week or two. All the sudden i see little areas where regular rock color was coming back... today, i noticed that my snail was on the top rock (which looked like it was leaking phosphates) and the rock looked pretty darn clean... Is this because the algae has run its course and starting to recede, or it is because of my snail?

I only ask because if it is the snail, thats awesome, and i will buy a few more.
