Coral wet saw would cause the least damage. You could also use a Drexel and cut the back of the frag.

Took mine to my LFS and left it to the pro! He used his frag saw. I also took enough tank water for the cut as well. That was three days ago. I noticed it was stressed (discoloration) right away. I also watched it recover within several hours :) So far so good!

I was planing on cutting mine soon as well. I have mine fully encrusted on a rock but some has grown off the rock and not sure if I can just use a blade to cut the piece hanging off. Any ideas to handle this one?

I know it a little off subject, but about what is the best level to keep this coral
Low light & no more than medium flow

J Rog's is pretty nice size and it appears to be in the middle to upper light and it looks like a power head is blasting it? Is this what I see?

Hi, it's definitely middle of the tank but I would say the power head is blasting it. There is an mp 40 on the other side of the tank then the coral shooting directly in the corals path though. I run the mp 40 at around 80%. So it gets pretty good flow. Mine was under radion led's gen 1's running at 65% on radiant color mode. Just recently upgraded to gen 3 pros running on the same radiant color mode at 65% as well.

About to move my lepto over to my new tank. I'm running the same light, program and intensity. Hope it works out as well as yours!

Mine is a trooper for sure. I have had it for a long time and has made it though some crashes.. At one point it died down to the size of my pinkey finger nail.. Grew back pretty fast

How fast would you say it grows?
