Do you there is anything in my coral? It looks good most of the day, but sometimes it closes itself out of the blue (at least as far as I can say). Today I saw this black thing on it, do you I should worry??

i dont see a black thing. I think it looks ok. If you see some black or brownish type goo or jelly then you have a problem

It's shedding most likely simply fave your hand by it or turkey baste it of to help the prices it may need Alitle more flow

What do you consider "looks good"? Goni normally may close for a few hours then open up with polyps that will sway in current. If it is closed for more than a day something is wrong.

Both pictures are a closed goni, using them as reference. If it is open with lights off and closed with lights on. Your lights are too bright. The black area may be a burned spot.
