I would not put acans and chalice close to each other chalices can be pretty aggressive For example I have a chalice the size of a quarter and it puts out sweeper tentacles over an inch long
Chalice vs Acan, Acan usually wins... I'd move them apart. Unless you have a Mycedium, they've got sweepers like no tomorrow.
