Hey all. I haven't made a build thread or anything on R2R as I am relatively new to this forum. I might set up a build thread here but I already have a few going but if people are interested maybe I will.

Thought I would post a few pictures of my growing SPS collection here.

This build is almost 7 months old and is just growing. (Its a rebuild of a past TOTM tank at N-R). I decided to do the whole build with frags.

I like your last pic but Im afraid it may be a Cali Tort. Great looking corals you have there.

I know the picture is a bit weird and shows off more green then blue, however the vendor I got it from is very reputable and he had both Cali and Oregon. This was was significantly bluer and deeper color. I greatly lower the contrast in the photos so that could be why. Either way it looks amazing in person and is one of the brightest corals in the tank.

Awesome collection for sure. Great looking tank as well.

Have you ever seen a pic of the mother colony of your Oregon Tort though? I've never seen one with any green in it. Always pure cobalt blue regardless of of how small or how freshly fragged. It's been in the Pacific Northwest longer than I've been in the hobby and still fairly difficult to find locally. I have to agree with the above poster that it's more likely a Cali tort.

Hmm could be, all the other frags or anything labelled Reef Raft, came directly from Jay at RR Canada however the tort was from a collector... The green in the photo is on the surface of the coral fluorescing and comes and goes with my dosage of Pohl's Xtra, here is a photo of it first added before beginning the XTra dosing.
