A few locals and I are growing these and a few lps out that we got from Jason. He was super easy to work with and the frags he sent were pretty nice. The blue polyps on the AE absolutely jump out and scream!

Altered ego (pic doesn't capture the orange/red very well):

Flame Fox (already fully encrusted and starting to grow on the plug below):

Both are coloring up and growing nicely. I'm excited to see these mature.

I haven't order from him directly, but I have seen a couple of his pieces. Since you have seen more with locals doing this, are the colors close to what is on his website?

I'm very happy with the colors. They both took a few weeks to color up from shipping, but they are getting there (about 80% color I'd guess).

I also picked up a few pieces at our swap in April from him.

Terra Nova
Hyper ventilation
Shock tart
Raspberry Cheesecake.

All of these had great color when I got them - they lost a bit due to a bout with aefw, but are now recovering nicely. The hyper ventilation is probably close to my favorite piece.

That's the hyper ventilation.

The raspberry, shock tart and terra nova are not pic worthy yet. They've lived a rough life in my tank so far. :(

But they are getting better. I'll get pics when they are fully happy again.

Nice pieces. I just got my first order from him a couple weeks ago. I got that monti & a sunset cap of I remember the name right, & a pink lemonade, & rasberry cheesecake. All are already showing new growth. Very nice pieces. I wanted the flame fox so bad but couldn't pony up that cash.

Awesome... i'm still waiting for my first new branch and the yellow tips to come back... mine looks like your first photo, except the polyps around the edges look green.

Quick shot of the AE. It has almost fully encrusted the plug. (And grabbed some pellet that I had just fed)

I had an emergency (dropped light in tank and fried some stuff), so everything was moved to the new tank a week ago. Still settling in from that, but so far things look pretty good.
