I never thought about doing it this way, does anyone use a bio cube for a qt/frag tank? The tanks are so cheap and comes with everything you need.

I really need to set up one, would love input!

For a qt, it'd be great for fish, kinda hard to keep the stability up with such a small volume of water, and as a frag tank, I would run out of room before there was water in the thing, but if you do not have too much, you should be good to go.

My plan isn't to have a lot of frags or anything. Mostly want it for new acros I get so I can watch them and also an area to let any frags I make off of my collection heal. Wouldn't be more than 15 acros in it.

I scored a 29 bio cube with a bad light for 50 bucks. Cut a hole big enough for a 100.00 reef radiance led light and boom. Cheap qt acclimation tank. 5 gallon water changes every 3 days and your more than set.
