Stunning as usual Greg, I love seeing your pics. What are you using to take your pictures with?

Thanks for your kind remarks - pictures are taken with a Sony Cybershot generally through an acrylic 'picture box' for top down shots or with my under water case. FTS are always taken using a tripod.

I am always happy to share any details -
Here are a few general points:
-display tank size - 404 gal
-dimensions - 96" wide - 36" front to back - 27" high
-sps dominant reef
-shallow sandbed
- Lighting - 4x 250 w true HQI blue wave ballasts with LumenMax 3 reflector pendants + 12x 54 w T5 bulbs (2 x 48" fixtures) + 1 radion LED (in an spot I used to have a 250 MH pendant) Essentially I run MH across the front & T5 across the back - that way I still get a good natural looking shimmer effect from the lighting
- Reefbrite LED blue moonlights
- skimmer - Euroreef RC500
- flow - 3x MP60 & 4x MP40 Vortechs
- Return pump for display is a Reeflow dart
- sump - 120 gallon
- holding tank / additional display in fish room = 130 gal (run to a common sump)
- dose 2 part using Randy's recipe except for the DOW products as they are too impure (played that game & lost several years ago)
- aproximately 200+ corals
- no carbon dosing is being run in the system for ULNS - I do dose KZ sponge power a couple times a week for coral food. I used to do KZ amino acids as well but have given up on that due to poor results. Other additives are Fauna Marin "color elements" which is additional trace elements once per week over & above the Fauna Marin "balling salts" used through the dosers.
- activated carbon changed monthly or when I remember - I don't feel the need to run GFO or other phosphate removers
- Live rock - approx. 450 lbs.
- fish - yes around 40 or 50 I think
- yada yada yada
That's all I can think of off the top of my head but I would be happy to answer any specific questions if you have any.
