Nice tank TJ, this article kinda re-enforces what is common in our tanks. The most colorful corals often are not the fastest growers and vice-versa, although tips are often nicely colored no matter what. The explanation though was good for clarification's of why that is.

ummm that article called zooxanthellae plants...come on now... and its by a scientist, hmmmmm
For the record zooxanthellae are dinoflagellates ;)

I think when biologists post brief articles like this its written kinda for dummies. If you click on the links within the article it is written for more reef savvy people.
