Hello Everyone! First time poster, long-time lurker. This summer I got the approval of my wife/boss to upgrade from my 93 gallon cube to a custom 200-ish gallon AGE tank.

72""x30""x22"" AGE with stainless steel bracing, non-starfire

72"x30"x36" Steel Stand from AGE (to be skinned with wood at a future date)

PVC bottom with sides in the stand for the sump and equipment to sit on (so like a tray that would be water tight and catch small leaks or water spills)

4 x AI Sol Super Blue LED's all with 70 degree optics

60x24x16 Acrylic Sump/Refugium

SRO 3000Int Skimmer

Tunze 6105
Tunze 6005
MP 10
Tunze 6215 Wave Box

Neptune Apex Controller
Neptune VDM Module

Water Blaster 7000 return pump

The filtration and sump is housed in the stand. To maximize internal space I elected to go with a powder-coated 2-inch tubular steel stand, also built by A.G.E. The stand will eventually be skinned with wood.

On 10-22-12 I added a pair of Orange Spot File Fish, aquired from Diver's Den.

I had my first pair in a 93 gallon cube mixed reef. They ate ova and sometimes Rogger’s food, however after 6 months one of them quickly lost weight, stopped eating and wasted away over a 2 week period. The second fish did the same thing after 9 months even though it continued to eat well. That was about 5 months ago.

I have since upgraded to a 210 gallon mixed reef and added significantly more sps corals to my collection. While I tried to resist the temptation to get another pair, I could not resist last week when Diver’s Den had a pair up for 4 or 5 days.

Before the fish even arrived I sought out additional Pocillopora frags/colonies as my first pair had always liked to snack on it.

When the new pair arrived they were in great shape and had more weight than my first pair had when they arrived. They were nipping sps in no time. Additionally they ate ova right away. After watching them for a week there are a few differences between this new pair versus my first pair that has me optimistic that this pair will fair better. First, the new pair has already accepted a wider variety of food - ova, cyclopeeze, sustainable aquatics hatchery diet pellets and mysis shrimp. The old pair really only ate ova on a regular basis. Second, the new pair both eat right out of the water column versus the old pair only picking food off the bottom. Third, I have a lot more sps that they may be able to snack on and if needed I can get a steady supply of pocillopora from the local reefing community.

Thanks everyone.

Awesome tank. What kind of light setting do u have on.?

The majority of the day the settings are in the 60's for white and and blue and 70's for the royal blues. It peaks out for an hour and a half at 70's and mid 80's

Can u please post more pics we have very bad addiction, help us lol.

I have tons of pictures. I have always liked to see pictures of other's tanks and coral, so I take a ton of pictures to return the favor. The first 3 pictures I took today, the rest are a bit older.
