How is this acro doing?

Hi Tim :)
Well thats a good question. With lights on it looks the same. No better no worse. BUT tonight i was checking the tank with a flashlight and found sevearl polyps extended and flowing. Since i couldn't get anyone to help i tried to take a pic the way i saw it. (And this was a real trick)

Hard to see them in a crappy cell pic though

^^^ This acro is definitely recovering! The "skin" is covering over the dead top of it and spreading at the bottom towards the plug. Now to keep it recoving....

Adding doors to the stand.... the finishing of the canopy and stand is taking FOREVER.... I know Glenn is busy but I am going to have to do the trim myself if this takes much longer. Holidays are coming and I have the get the whole interior of the house painted asap. This stand and canopy not being completed is really holding me up....

Stand cabinet doors...

This one will be a popout door.

All of the doors will be trimmed with the rest of the stand and canopy. This stand will be painted (Colonial style as the rest of my house) not stained.

I wanted to put OLD glass knobs on it but can't find enough of the same knob so until i do, the knobs will be brush nickel.

Took more pics of the 2 returning acros... the 1st one has 2 nubs, one near the top left and one bottom right. Nice PE on them :)

Seriously though, he wanted to do the trim and that's why I've been waiting. But we are about out of time around here. It isn't that I can't do it -I can, he just likes to do it. I may start the build-out of the corner columns and base for the crown. That way he can cope all the final finish trim. (That's the part he likes to do)

Nice family you have there! Mine are all big now... the youngest will be 18 in January. They grow up fast and before you know it they're moving out. Enjoy every moment :)
