I'm currently in the process of putting together a marineland 300g dd.
planned equipment

Custom stand and canopy (being made locally)
Lighting 3 400w 10k mh, 2 bml actintic strips 1 reefbrite actintic, 2 apex lunar
Sump ( 66x28 made by advanced acrylics with integrated frag section, cryptic, and refugium
Skimmer RO 300int dc
2 brs reactors
Teco 20 chiller
Frag lighting still undecided most likely led to get feel for it
Bml 10k led for refugium
Jabeo 6000 dc for reactors and chiller
Jabeo 12000 dc for return
Gyre and 2 jabeo rw20(thinking about dumping these for another gyre)
Apex 3 eb8
Tunze osmolator
Stenner auto water changer

I'm currently running a 75 with ati t5 so I'm ready to see how these mh do for growth.

Super nice for the new year :)

I can give you some ideas for a scrubber(s). Main question will be:

Amount of feeding?

Are the rocks coming from a nuisance algae problem tank?

3/4 of the rocks will be new 1/4 is from my current tank. I had a slight byropsis outbreak but is now cleared and no alage. But film on glass. I do change 3 gallons of water per day. I plan on having a ton Of fish in new setup. But it will be sps so need clean water

Ok good, then you don't need to factor in 1 cube a day feeding, per 50 pounds of problem rock. You only need to consider how much feeding you'll be putting in.

The sump seems to be very large, so you could probably have any combination of scrubbers in there, so that they add up to how much you will be feeding. Here more:

Which one

Well the two HOG3 would be a good start, alternating the cleanings. They more-or-less stick to 3/4, but I put 5/8 to be certain. If you put a little silicone on the outside rim, or, supported the outside or inside with a little something, they would stick for sure. However they might just stick as-is.
