Nice, thanks. My buddies and I usually hit the ones around us, like Cincy, Indy, Columbus, ours in Louisville, and the MTRC, but just missed out this year. Plus the Cincinnati one was just a few weeks before it, and I blew some serious cash there....kinda like I do every swap

I travel a lot and I can only usually make the ones that happen between Nov.-Jan. So needless to say I can't make many. I wish I could make all the swaps that are a couple hours drive from me it's a great place to get some awesome corals at a great price. As well as put faces to screen names too. LOL

I don't know if I have a secret to SPS. LOL! I just try and change 10% of the water every 2 weeks and I dose BRS 2 part and Mg. I think my biggest success comes from large ammount of random flow in the tank.

I use a Canon Rebel XSi with a 18-55mm lens. I tried your White balance tip with the plate and it was better than the sand but the greens were still not what I think they look like in my lights. So I just use auto white balance and adjust to 20k in Photoshop.

You have to shoot in RAW or get a converter to go from JPEG to RAW. What kind of camera do you use? BTW I only have Elements 7 so far. I want the CS5 but thats $$$$. LOL

Open a RAW image in PS and the first page right at the top should have the WB box. Just type in 20000 and you should be good.

I dont shoot in RAW,my computer wants me to buy a program to accept RAW files, which its very PRICEY.

I use a Canon 500D aka T1i,Im updraging soon,I realise I kinda wasted my money cause for $1000 more I could have got a totally cooler camera like the 5D Mark ii so in a few months to a year,I will have the 5D Mark ii.

Get Photoshop Elements 9,its a really cool program and has a nice price tag of $99 with a $20 mail in rebate!

I am getting the 7D before I go to Germany this summer. I didn't buy any extra software to load RAW on my computer. I got the software from Canons site. It was free. Is Elements 9 that much different from Elements 7? I think I'm going to get my wife to buy the Cs5 student edition while she is still in college its only $250 on Amazon that way........

    Ya,the 7D is a sweet one.

Huh?Maybe thats what the disk are that came with the camera?I think of those generally as a worthless marketing deploy?

Elemebts 9 is much diffirent,IMO,there is the content aware addition, which is pretty cool, and worth is IMO.

Ya,Photoshop offers MAJOR discounts to students and teachers.
