sick tank , going to be sweet. i am sure you can separate a section for one of the drains to drain into for a fuge. then just have it spill back into the return section. might need to draw this to show. there are examples out there somewhere. question, see that your going with an aplha cone 300. just wondering if your using this skimmer on any system currently and do you like it?

Thanks Nater, I haven't used the Alpha yet, to be honest I'm kinda scared its too big and ill have to get something smaller. I figure I might as well give it a shot first since I have it. Don't underestimate how large this Skimmer is, its massive.

Alright, not much progress. I did manage to get the top built today though. There will be no carpet surfing in my house.

Heres a tease of the stand getting started. Im kinda having second thoughts on the magnets because I have small children and cant risk the face being pulled off but it will still be removable.

and heres a little mock up of the plumbing. Its not glued yet so any feedback is appreciated at this point.

Thank-you. That's my other baby. Its a 64 C10 pickup. Unfortunately it hasn't moved in 4 years, which happens to be my daughters age. I now also have a 2 year old so who knows when it'll run again. Someday I guess,LOL.

Since I gotta move them soon of course they lay eggs. I've been waiting for 4 years, great timing.

Coming along really nice. What type of changes did you make in the plumbing? Any new pics of that? My only suggestion would be to possibly use gate valves in some of the locations instead of ball valves. My history with ball valves is they are difficult if not impossible to adjust accurately over time. Keep the pics coming...

Thanks,I ditched the cross and have a couple wyes coming instead. Im still trying to get myself to change the ball valves on the manifold over to gate valves but theyre too expensive. Ill do it eventually probably but for now I might as well see how it goes. I used all threaded fittings so a switch out later should be easy.

Here is an update on the plumbing. I would really love some feedback on this, please tell me what you think. I like the first one better but feel the second would work better. Help!!!!!!!
