Hi everyone I am looking for some pointers on a photo period other then the preset I feel like I am maybe burning my sps corals I have them hung 12 inches above the water line. I am looking for some other options and trying to see what is working for others current setup is 120 gallon 75 gallon sump/fuge xp3000sss skimmer, water blaster hy 12500 return bio pellets,gfo,carbon reactors apex, 2 mp40s 2 mazarra p series leds

What kind of lights? Length of time (what you call photo period I assume) is almost immaterial. The zooxanthellae in coral do photosynthesis for 4-6 hours and then shut down. Longer daylight doesn't hurt the coral, buy it doesn't help either. The longer time frame is for our benefit, not the coral's. If you have leds, what make and what power levels are you running. That's way more important than length of time.

They are maxspect mazarra p series come on at 8 ramp up to 100 percent at ten till 4pm then ramp down till 10

Im having a hard time with mine too.. Everything is either brown or almost bleached.. Not sure if its too much light or not enough..
