Getting sick of my little 29gal so i thought i would build myself a 49gal tank from scratch...
the tank will be 31 inch long 19 1/2 inch wide and 20 inches tall.
so here is the start of the pics once i get more i'll post. it may take me a week to finish this tank....oh i can't wait

well we have started putting it together... wow it sweet looking!!!!! Using RTV103 black silicone we are not done yet.
still have to run a bead of silicone on the inside,but first we wait for this to set up 24 hours or so

Last ones for the day!
Still gotta silicone the overflow on and the black cover on the overflow. ALSO drill holes for plumbing and paint back BLACK!

There will be a hood over this so the top rim is just for support!
And of course sand so you wont see the white support on the bottom.

O.K,. got the bottom trim on three sides painted, three holes drilled and two bulkheads in.. I cant do the last one till I get the tank in place it's on the side and it would not get by the 125.
OH And the leak test was PERFECT!!! not a drop.

LPS and zoo's.. It's gonna tie into my 125 and use the same sump...It's replacing the 29 gallon on my display
if you look in this old pic you can see the 29 thats getting replaced

I do And I follow your DIY's too.
I was way nervous building a glass tank But now that it's done.. I'm not so freaked out anymore..
I'm breaking down the 29 as I type.. (my wifes tank so I told here to get here livestock in a 20 long holding tank ) so I can pop this baby in place..
