I getting ready to build a simple hood for my 20 long which I plan to house my LEDs in. Does anyone have an opinion on best materials to use? Basically I'm just going to build a box but wasn't sure if look/function better using wook/acrylic/...

Thanks

All my hoods and stands are made from aluminum... Works great as long as it is not submerged...
It's perfect for this application since it would work as a heat sink also for the LEDs....;)
