Pick it up today was told that is was a goniastera and I am need an iD on it what do you think

Don't think so it came from quality marine . And the polyps don't look much like the oulos that I have seen anyone else have an idea

Kinda looks like a platygyra. Oulophylia looks a lot like platygyra. But platygyra usually has more of a maze or worm look to the ridges. Gonisatra has more of a honey comb look, more like a favia. Platygyra can get very puffy like any LPS. The best way to get a better ID is when it is at its normal state not during its filter feeding state.
