I got this as a freebie on the last yourreef.com live sale it has little speckles all over it cant really see them in the pics though. What exactly is this thang.
I would say some type of favia. It doesn't have much color to it right now mainly brown. I do see some hints of purple and green around the mouths and those seem to be kinda orange-y red. Hope it colors up nicely.
+1 favia family. A bit small to tell exactly member of favia it is. As the above post said it more than likely will color up. It may have been in low light. So slowly accustom it to med light. It may be green in color once colored up.
Going my paperwork that came with the order it is a star dust chalice for sure. I've had it for a while and have had it up high and down low and in different kinds of flow I just can't seem to find a good spot
Mycedium are decent growers once they are happy. Low flow and start with low light and over time you can get it use it medium, non-direct light. It will slowly color up. Brown chalices usually mean it was kept in too low of light. Mycedium are also decent eaters. It will eat pellets mysis or brine.
