So I was about to do my water change when I notice my tank got covered in alage again I brush it off yesterday and came right back today it a light case but I want to kill it before it get out of hand I saw these bubble tip alage on top of my return no bubble tip on my sand bed but it could be early stages of dino. Info on my tank I upgraded this tank in august 10 2014 from a 55 to a 90 and I do weekly water changes 10 percent im in the process of testing my water I will post results in a few but do you guys thinks it dino I definitely know on the return it is but why it not on the sand bed? What remedies do you recommend should I do my water change ?

Currently having the same issue on our 29g tank that we started May of this year. I only feed every other day and minimal. 1 WP10 wavemaker. I do water changes every two weeks with distilled water that reads 0 on TDS. I have a HOB skimmer. Two things, the tank is hitting a sunlight but I make sure that shutters are closed. Could be that I added about 15lbs of Dry rocks about a month ago, this could be it (?) I am planning to have a Trochus snail, Sand sifting goby and a GFO reactor. Good luck.
