Thank you. I am having a diatom bloom the tank will be 5 weeks this saturday. All my water parameters are good except nitrates and phosphates. I have done 3 water changes of 30 gals each yet they remain high. Nitrates are close to 80 ppm and the phosphate is over 1.00 ppm. I have a phosban 150 reactor but it doesn't seem to be helping too much. everything else is going well. I have cut back on feeding the fish but now they are not playing as well with each other. There are 3 tangs Hippo, Purple, Sailfin, and a cuban hogfish + 2 large Clarki clowns, a foxface and a flagfin angel and 1 damsel. All of the fish are 3 inch or larger. They where in a 120 gal for the last 3-6 yrs. Any thoughts ? I just purchased a 180 oceanis bow front and will be senting it up very soon as well so I can transfer some of the fish over into a larger tank. There is over 135 lbs of live rock and i change filter socks everyday. Still trying to dial in the protien skimmer.
