    clown Hello from Bristol

Hi guys. Like I said my wife and I are from Bristol, TN and we have just started a new 90 gallon reef. I have had a saltwater tank for about 15 years now. Starting with a 29 gal with an under gravel filter then moving to a 55 gal with the introdustion of the live sand and live rock. This new tank is my first dive.into the set up of a reef tank and keeping corals. Currently we have ghe tank fully cycled and have a few damsels that moved from the 55, 2 percula clowns a lemon peal angel and sand sifter goby. Lookng for suggestions on further additions for the.cleaning crew as well as what kind of corals are good to start with. In our area we are limited on stores that sell reef fish and products but.the o.es we do have are more than willing to help with ordering and finding what we are looking fo.

    Thnks in advance.

Welcome to the forum! If you have another tank setup I would recommend (if you can) putting the damsels in it. They can get very aggressive and can be very hard to remove the older they get.

What lights do you have on the tank? are they Metal Halides, T5's, LED's, or some form of Compact Flourescents? The type of lighting you have will greatly determine what corals you can succesfully keep in the tank.

A good place to start is with mushrooms, zoanthids, and palys.

If you have any questions feel free to ask them. We would like to see pics of your tank as well.

Good morning and welcome to r2r, the friendliest site in the world. Much like the damsels, I would recommend that you either transfer the lemon peel or be choosy as to what corals you put in there with them as they are known to nip especially on zoos and clams. Good luck
