Not sure why but these pictures look much better on my cell phone. Once I upload to the site they look terrible. This happen to anyone else? Is it possible that uploading from the app has anything to do with it?

Got tired of my seeing my skimmer sticking out like a sore thumb every time I look at my tank, so I threw together a "cover" quickly after work. Here's the before

And here's the "cover"

I may put some trim on it to sort of match the doors. After I decide to put trim on or not I just need to sand and paint it. The cover comes off for easy access to the collection cup and with the collection cup off the skimmer, the "cover"slides forward for when I need to do a cleaning of the pump and skimmer body.

Thank you. Nothing's too hard with the right tools and a little patience. You should give it a shot

Moved my scoly over from the frag tank to the display. First picture is straight from my cell phone and the second ones are through a gel filter to take out some of the blue.

HAHA!! I want your scoly! That thing glows!!

That piece is one of the best deals I've ever gotten in the hobby. Easily one of my favorites as well. You should see it under leds. I'll have to see if I still have any picture of it when I had it in the frag tank.

Was looking at the tank thinking that I needed a bit more "height" on the left side. About a week later Scott at alternative reef posted up some magnetic frag stations and I picked one up. Came in today and I am really happy with it. Here's a quick (terrible as usual) picture. Should look really good once it takes on some color and isn't so white.
