Very nice in the pics did I see an Orange frogspawn ?!

Thank you very much. Yea that is an orange frogspawn. I love that piece. Have my eyes out for a nice orange or neon yellow hammer to go along with it.

Thanks man. I appreciate it. I love that scoly, easily one of my favorite pieces. The sps is a maricultured echinata from my lfs.

As of the 13th the tank is officially 1yr old. It's really cool to look through the thread and see the progression.

Quick update.
I added a 36" reefbrite strip the other night for the LED "pop" so far I am really liking it. Only thing I may do is fabricate a "cleaner" looking bracket. I also need to figure out a better way to run the power wire.

And tonight I added a fish that I have been wanting to add for a long time now, a borbonius anthias. So far it's doing very well. Here's a quick picture of it

The tank looks great! The reefbrite really makes a difference! I had two of them and they made everything pop!

Thank you! I'm really liking the reefbrite I wasn't sure if 1 would be enough but it's pretty powerful for a small light

Built a screen top in hopes of adding a couple wrasses in the near future. Thinking of a pair of flame wrasses but still not positive. Any other suggestions?

Pretty happy with how it turned out

Great looking setup. I just came across this as I have my first rimless coming in a few days. Your tank is very impressive. Could you give any tips on how you constructed the screen top?
Keep up the nice work!

Thank you very much! As far as the screen top went I got the aluminum screen frame, the corners for the frame and the rubber strip that holds the screen in the frame from the Home Depot. The mesh itself if the 1/4" clear mesh from BRS. If I were to do it again (which I may) I would use 4 smaller acrylic "tabs" closer to the corners instead of the 2 in the center I used. Reason being it would be more stable with the 4. Other than that small issue I'm happy with it. You really have to look to see the tabs which is good because that was one of my biggest concerns. Depending on your setup you may need to leave a small amount of space in the back between the screen frame and the glass to run cords for powerheads.
