Pretty exciting. I wish the landlord would let us do something extensive like this. Lol

Thanks - yeah had a hard sell with my landlord.... AKA WIFE!

I set up the RO/DI filter down there as well - have two brutes one with RODI water ad auto top off and one with mixed salt for water changes - I built a shut off in to the sump so when I open it I can pump the new water right in the DT for my water changes. Ran all new electric - each panel has a switch with 4 outlets so I can have pumps - lights - heaters all on separate outlet boxes all GFCI protected with there own switch.

Little update - worked in the sump room today. Wiring is done - 20 amp breaker with a throw switch with a male plug to plug into the generator if (when) needed. Also built another stand - this one is 6' x 2' an 3.5' tall with a bottom shelf for supplies - top shelf will be for the 40 gallon frag tank and qt tank and some work space.

Ran the plumbing from the return pump through the crawl space - need to push through floor behind tank and plumb tank (hopefully this weekend)

I will post a few pictures once cleaned up as it is all covered with plastic as I was painting a buddies stand when I was done.

And she is up and running!!!

Well after two months of planning and building - I could not wait anymore for my branch rock. After 3 weeks they could not tell me when It was going to ship so I canceled the order. SO SHE IS UP AND RUNNING!!! NO LEAKS!!! WOOT WOOT!!

Here are few pics. I am really happy with the rock considering first time I set up a salt tank - I do need to make a few tweaks but am going to live with it for a week first. I like the left side -lot of ledges and caves.

Nice! Build another arch on the right side and get it closer to the light!

I wish I had added more ledges to mine. Didn't think I'd have this much coral! Lol

Need back room pics!!!

Sump Room

Okay so here is my sump room - all lights are on - obviously I will set the Fuge to go on at night.

55 Gallon custom sump
20 gallon Fuge
30 Gallon Deep blue frag tank
10 gallon QT

Calcium reactor and dosing pump not hooked up yet.

I am getting micro bubbles from my Fuge because I have hat draining into the "good return water" of the sump so I can get copes up to the DT - I need to figure something out for this. may take a 45 angle and put that into one of the chambers after the sponge but before the return to cut down on them - ideas anyone??

Okay so much for living with it for a while - I rearranged the right side - made some ledges and opened it up.
